Why isn't the machine working? How do I cool down the machine?

The rapid flashing of the top left icon, along with the inability to brew coffee, indicates that the overheat protection has been activated.

1. Fill the water tank, then press any of the Espresso, Cappuccino, or Latte buttons.
2. When hot water flows from the milk dispensing tube, all buttons will light up.
3. The machine is now ready for use.

Press for 3 seconds to customize the volume of Espresso, Cappuccino, and Latte. (The custom volume option does not automatically stop extraction; press the brew button again to stop.)
